Sight Unseen is an installation about the state of women's healthcare and the HIV/AIDS crisis. It was done in collaboration with Leslie Ernst and was exhibited at several locations in the early 1990's. The installation utilized storefront windows and gallery space to create four "exam rooms" combining curtains with images and altered medical equipment. Photographic emulsion was applied directly to the fabric.
It was exhibited at the following venues:
Franklin Furnace, New York, 1992.
LACPS (LA Center for Photographic Studies), Los Angeles, 1993.
SPARC ( Social And Public Art Resource Center), Los Angeles, 1994.
